Hospital (FCMH) o"ers skilled
nursing for patients who need addi-
tional time to heal a#er an inpatient
hospitalization before they can safely
return home.
$e program is an alternative to
short-term nursing home placement
and is not limited to FCMH patients.
Anyone can use our skilled nursing
service a#er a qualifying hospital
stay.

Swing Bed Program o"ers an array
of services with the cost covered
according to Medicare guidelines
and based on the patient’s need.
$ey include physical, speech,
occupational and respiratory thera-
pies, IV therapy, medications, nurs-
ing services, routine lab and x-ray,
therapeutic activities, pastoral care,
and local phone and TV service.
Patients with a terminal diagnosis
or in need of wound care and pain
management can also bene%t from
the program.”
Our case manager can speak with
you or a loved one about services,
admission criteria and insurance
coverage. $e program accepts
all Medicare HMOs, including
MediGold, traditional Medicare and
